UK-based executive search firm Marlin Hawk announced that it is acquiring Winter Circle, an invitation-only digital network for senior executives. The two companies will create The Marlin Hawk Group.

“Driven by the passionate belief that the traditional industry model needs to change, the two companies have come together to provide clients with a unique suite of executive search and leadership advisory services,” Marlin Hawk stated. “As a united force, The Marlin Hawk Group will offer the full spectrum of executive hiring, from executive search and organisational analysis to direct solutions and access to an exclusive digital network of senior leaders.

Adam White, COO of Winter Circle, commented, “Joining with Marlin Hawk will allow us to be a stronger force in the industry as we grow our global network. There is already a natural synergy between the two companies and I believe our combined, tech-led proposition will transform how the industry is perceived and operates.”

Marlin Hawk was founded in 2003 by David Holloway and has offices in London, New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Winter Circle was founded in 2015 in London. The group states that it is an “invitation-only digital network connects executives with opportunities, ideas and intelligence, and has welcomed members from all over the world.”

No further details of the transaction were disclosed.
