Independent job board CV-Library announced that it has acquired Education-Jobs.co.uk, a job board in the education sector.

CV-Library said that the acquisition of the site will ensure that CV-Library continues to drive applications to its clients’ vacancies across the sector. The site will be rolled out onto CV-Library’s multisite white label platform. CV-Library added that it already has nearly 700,000 education candidates on its site, who make an average of 78,000 applications every month.

“The education market is extremely important to us,” Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, said.  “Like many other sectors, it continues to battle ongoing skills shortages and this means there is more pressure to hire the best employees, fast. With our help, and the acquisition of this new site, we hope to offer employers across the industry the opportunity to find and recruit the best talent across the market.”

No further details of the acquisition were announced.
