Bullhorn, a supplier of software to staffing firms, yesterday announced the acquisition of Invenias, a UK-headquartered provider of cloud-based software for executive search firms.

Incorporated in 2005 and backed by MMC Ventures since 2013, Invenias is headquartered in Reading, UK, with additional offices in Europe, the US, Australia and Malaysia.

The transaction closed today; terms were not disclosed. Invenias’ founders, CEO David Grundy and CTO and Chief Product Officer Richard Harrison, will remain at the helm of the company and join Bullhorn’s expanded international leadership team.

Yesterday's deal follows Bullhorn’s acquisition in March of fellow software suppliers Talent Rover and Jobscience, two separate firms based in San Francisco, and last year’s acquisition of Netherlands-based Connexys, a software supplier to European staffing firms that also use the Salesforce.com platform.
