UK – Bluestones investment group acquires Midlands recruitment firm Handystaff

09 February 2018

Bluestones Investment Group announced that it has acquired HandyStaff limited, a Midlands based recruitment specialist business focused on providing temporary and permanent personnel in the construction and shopfitting sectors.

After the acquisition, HandyStaff was provided with investment to be used to grow the company from its Midlands base with a new website, new headquarters and two new recruitment staff already appointed.

“For the Bluestones Group, HandyStaff represents an opportunity for the company to expand its construction and shopfitting divisions with offices in Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, North Wales and London,” Bluestones stated.

Adam Innocent launched HandyStaff in 2013. Headquartered in Nottingham the company provides temporary and permanent recruitment services to clients nationally.

“When I met the team behind the Bluestones Investment Group I was impressed with the support functions within the business. By partnering with them I gained instant access to professionals in HR, marketing, IT and finance,” Innocent said.

“Adam’s experience in the sector and success over the last few years made the acquisition into the Group seamless.” Paul Broderick, CEO of Specialist Staffing at Bluestones Group, said.

The Bluestones Group is headquartered in Cheshire. The group invests in recruiters, recruitment companies and staffing service organisations.

No further details of the acquisition were announced.
