Amazon has announced plans for a new distribution centre in Bristol that would create more than 1,000 new jobs, reports Sky News. The new jobs will be permanent and Amazon plans to start recruiting engineers, operations managers, HR and IT specialists ahead of the facility's opening in 2018. The centre will be located at Severn Beach, outside the city of Bristol. Amazon said the decision to open another centre was driven by "increasing customer demand".
