Contract and recruitment services provider ADVANCE reported revenue of £64.6 million for the year ending 31 March 2017, up 13% from 57.1 million last year.

The record-high revenue represents the company’s seventh consecutive year of growth since it was founded in 2010.

Managing director Shaun Critchley attributed the growth to strong “broad-based” demand from contractors and recruiters for ADVANCE’s umbrella, limited company and self-employment solutions.

“These results were achieved in a year that was sandwiched by two major legislation changes – the travel & subsistence umbrella reforms and the public sector IR35 changes,” Critchley said.

Based in Chester, ADVANCE employs around 40 members located in its  head-office. Key sectors include engineering, construction, IT, healthcare and education.
