Staffing Executives From the U.S. and Abroad Meet to Explore Contingent Workforce Issues.
Staffing Industry Analysts, the premier provider of market intelligence about the contingent workforce, announced today that Geoff Colvin, author and Senior Editor of Fortune will be the keynote speaker at its 2010 Executive Forum Conference, March 17-19, 2010 in Las Vegas. Colvin will discuss ten management strategies to prevail in the recession and thrive in the aftermath.
The Staffing Industry Analysts' Executive Forum is expected to attract 500 senior level executives from staffing companies in the United States, Canada and around the world. In addition to Colvin's keynote address, the event will feature the Peter Yessne Staffing Innovator Award. The award was created in honor of Staffing Industry Analysts' founder Peter Yessne and acknowledges innovations from individuals in the staffing industry. This year's finalists are:
- Max Messmer, CEO, Robert Half International, Inc.
- Michael Miles, Chairman, Seaton Corporation
- Harold Mills, CEO, ZeroChaos, Inc.
- Steve Vesce, Managing Director, Endgame Advisors
- Michael Willis, Chairman, Willis Group of Companies
"Each of these individuals has contributed an unparalleled innovation to the staffing industry," said Barry Asin, President, Staffing Industry Analysts. "It has been an inspiring journey to move through the nomination process and the voting for the individual who our Corporate Members believe is the most innovative," Asin went on to say.
Staffing Industry analysts solicited nominations from its Corporate Membership as well as readers of its magazine SI Review. Nominations were reviewed by a committee of Staffing Industry Analysts' researchers and editors and five finalists were chosen. The five finalists were then presented to Staffing Industry Analysts Corporate Membership to vote for the winner. The winner will be announced at the Executive Forum on Thursday, 18 March 2010.
Attendees of the Staffing Industry Analysts' Executive Forum are senior executives from staffing firms of all sizes, including industry leaders such as Adecco, Robert Half and Manpower; as well as leaders from companies that were rated as some of the Best Staffing Companies to Work for, such as LiquidAgents Healthcare, Hire Dynamics, and firstPRO, Inc.
Attendees will be treated to Executive Perspectives from leaders at Apex Systems, Staff Management and Allegis Group. Acknowledging the increasingly global impact of staffing, this year the Executive Forum also features a special European Staffing Track with a series of five sessions focusing on important strategic issues within the European staffing market.
