France-based Synergie Group has acquired IPA Personnel Services, effectively doubling its portfolio in Australia.

The deal, announced yesterday, will accelerate Synergie’s development in Australia and is estimated to generate a yearly proforma revenue of AUD 190 million (USD 126 million) for the year 2023.

IPA Personnel Services, a recruitment and HR solutions partner in Australia, offers expertise to both companies and candidates. IPA is headquartered in Melbourne with 10 offices nationally. The company works across a range of sectors and industries including administration, office support, construction, engineering, manufacturing, production, transport and logistics.

As part of the deal, Synergie will have access to markets such as local and federal government offices, renewable energy, and water infrastructure.  The combined network will have a strong domestic presence covering all main cities in Australia.

Additionally, the operation aligns with the group's strategy to support its clients in their international expansion efforts, enabling them to leverage the expertise and services of Synergie's global human resources solutions across the 17 countries where the Group operates.

Synergie has been active in Australia since 2012 through its subsidiary, Synaco, which has successfully established a national network to serve customers across the territory.
