Switzerland – Temporary staffing market up in August

The number of temporary workers in Switzerland grew by 3.5% in August year-on-year, according to the latest figures from Swiss Staffing, the Swiss Federation of Staffing Companies.

Since the start of the year, the number of temporary workers is down 0.5% and over the past twelve months, the number of temporary workers is also down by 1.5%.

Swiss Staffing states that economic indicators are reflecting continued economic developments in August with the BAKBASEL Institute, an economic research and consultancy firm, raising its growth forecasts for 2016 from 1% to 1.6%.
