The Adecco Group has announced the acquisition of US-based eDiscovery solutions provider D4, LLC.

D4 will be combined with the Adecco Group's subsidiary Special Counsel, a provider of legal staffing and recruiting solutions in the US.

D4 is a provider of managed data and discovery services to law firms and corporations. The company offers full-service capabilities with local infrastructure to support litigation, investigations, compliance and other legal matters. eDiscovery solutions is the identification, collection and production of electronically stored information for use in legal proceedings.

The affiliation between D4 and Special Counsel will provide eDiscovery and staffing solutions both in the US and internationally.

Terms of the transaction, which closed on 3 October 2016, have not been disclosed.
