Coopers Group, a Swiss recruiting firm in professional and executive search, announced the acquisition of iET Group, an employment agency in Zurich.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The iET Group provides recruiting and staffing, as well as payrolling, project management and training.

Through the deal, Coopers gains access to new talent pools and can support its clients even better in their recruitment processes.

According to Coopers, this strategic acquisition emphasises the company’s commitment to expand their service portfolio and to further strengthen their presence in the Swiss market.

Employees of the iET Group will be integrated seamlessly into Coopers to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for all clients and candidates.

The previous owner and managing director of the iET Group, Christian Staubli, is stepping down from his positions, but will remain as an advisor and companion to Coopers.

Staubli said, “After more than 30 successful years in business, I have decided to retire from the operational side of the business. I am very pleased to have found a partner in Coopers who will sustainably run the companies I founded as I have envisioned it."

Coopers specialises in the placement and contracting of specialists and executives within IT, life sciences, engineering and finance. The company was founded in 2010, is headquartered in Hergiswil in Switzerland.
