Sweden – Revenue rises for SJR in Scandinavia

Swedish staffing company SJR in Scandinavia (SJRB: SS) reported revenue for the first quarter ending 31 March 2017 of SEK 99.2 million (€10.1 million), an increase of 17.2% compared with SEK 84.7 million (€9.1 million) during the same period last year.

SJR in Scandinavia primarily focuses on the economic, banking, and financial sectors. The company, through its consulting business, works in cooperation with a number of banking and financial institutions in Sweden, as well as with the finance and accounting departments of a number of Swedish companies.

 “SJR's focus is to grow with profitability, which means that priority is profitability, then growth,” Per Ogunro, CEO  of SJR, said. “The first quarter now indicates that we are heading in the right direction. Personal service and high quality in our services are our success factors. This will continue to be the focus in 2017. My forecast for 2017 is improved growth in comparison with the previous year and continued good profitability.”

As of last trade SJR in Scandinavia AB traded at 41.20 (€4.2), up 1.23% on the day and 4.19% below its 52-week high of SEK 43.0 (€4.41), set on 21 February 2017. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of SEK 390.7 million (€40.1 million).
