Sweden – Poolia buys 51% stake in Student Node

01 April 2019

Swedish staffing firm Poolia announced that it has acquired a 51% stake in Student Node AB, a company based in Sweden that organises events for students at universities and colleges.

The initial purchase price is SEK 0.3 million (€28,860). In total, Poolia stated that a maximum of SEK 4 million (€0.3 million) can be paid in purchase and additional purchase prices for the entire business.

Student Node was founded in 2016 by two students in Sweden: Erik Sturesson and David Schofield and investor SU Holding, which manages incubator and associated companies originating from Stockholm University.

The purpose of the acquisition is to increase Poolia's knowledge among students and thereby “improve candidate flow.”
