First-quarter revenue at Sweden-based healthcare and education staffing firm NGS Group AB (NGS: SS) declined by 10.5% from the year-ago quarter. Operating profit also fell by 7.6%.

During the quarter, the company restructured its reporting segment from two segments to one.
Ingrid Nordlund, CEO, commented, “As of this quarter, we are re-reporting all our operations in one and the same segment. This as a consequence of our efforts to increase synergies between the various business areas and grow our joint business within both staffing and recruitment and executive search.”
In trading yesterday NGS Group shares traded at SEK 22.70 (€2.12), up 1.34% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of SEK 204.81 million (€19.14 million).
