Swedish recruitment services firm Hedera Group acquired Medidoktor Norden AB, a Swedish staffing firm focused on the staffing and recruitment of doctors and nurses.

The purchase price was SEK 800,000 (USD 75,788) and is paid in cash. The transfer took place yesterday on 3 March 2020.

Medidoktor is owned by Philip Sommar and Risto Urdzanov together with a group of investors.

Johan Sandström, CEO of Hedera Group said, “We are pleased that Philip and Risto with valuable expertise as consulting managers will become a part of the Hedera Group. The transfer strengthens our position in staffing for primary care.”

“Both me and founder Philip Sommar think this is very fun and we look forward to making this new trip together with the Hedera Group,” Urdzanov said.

Medidoktor reported a decrease in revenue in 2019 which, according to the company, is the reason for the transfer.
