Ingrid Nordund, Managing Director of NGS Group, commented: “We continued our strong performance reported in recent quarters, reaching 11% revenue growth compared with the second quarter of 2014. Operating profit increased by SEK 1.1 million (€116,367) during the quarter, while maintaining the same operating margin as the same quarter in 2014.”
“During the second quarter our Swedish nursing business distinguished itself as our strongest growth market. It is also positive that we grew by 10% in Norway during the quarter, compared with the same period in 2014. The entire Healthcare business grew by 10% during the quarter, compared with the same period in 2014. The Education business also developed positively during the quarter, growing by 15% compared to the same period last year. A lack of qualified personnel in the schools sector is palpable but we have been successful in recruiting new, competent employees who have enabled our growth.”
“During the second quarter our new business Resource Doctors was launched. Resource Doctors will focus on staffing in specialist fields other than medicine, which so far along with psychiatry has been the main focus of NGS Healthcare staffing. Resource Doctors is in a start-up phase, but is developing as expected and is a very positive addition and complements NGS’ other business areas.”
“In August we are in a very intense phase in the recruitment of new staff for both Healthcare and Education. We are putting the full focus on attracting the best staff to NGS and work intensively to solve all our customers’ needs,” she added.
