Edge HR, a subsidiary of Swedish staffing firm Wise Group, has announced that Ulrika Linnersjö has stepped down from her role as CEO.

Niclas Smedberg, sales manager and vice president of Wise Group, will be acting CEO while the recruitment process begins for a new CEO.

Ulrika will leave the company after completing the projects she’s currently working on. She first joined Edge HR in February 2017. Prior to Edge HR she worked as Director of HR at Benify AB and had leadership roles with Academic Work Norway.

"We appreciate Ulrika who has spent a lot of energy for both Edge HR and Wise Group. However, there were different views within Edge HR's management of how the company should be run forward and we have agreed that this solution is best for the company,” Roland Gustavsson, CEO of Wise Group AB, said.
