"The market for staffing in health care in Norway has weakened during the year. Although healthcare staffing in Norway managed to improve its profitability in the third quarter compared with the same period last year, reaching higher earnings despite lower revenues,” Stig Engcrantz, CEO of Dedicare, said. “Our assessment is that Dedicare is taking market share in Norway during the third quarter."

"We have new agreements with Scania and SCC (Swedish Chamber of Commerce) during the year, which create good conditions for profitable growth in the nursing and medical staffing in Sweden,” Engcrantz said. “We see continued strong demand for our services and with that conclusion I proudly present, both in terms of revenues and profitability, the strongest quarter in the company's history.”

Dedicare’s business is now focused on healthcare staffing, following the divestment of the company’s Norwegian care business in 2014. Revenue for the company’s Swedish healthcare staffing segment grew by 19.6% to SEK 117.4 million (€12.1 million) from SEK 98.2 (€10.5 million) a year ago, while revenue for the company’s Norwegian segment declined by 1.3% to SEK 55.2 million (€5.7 million) from SEK 55.9 million (€5.9 million) last year.

In trading today Dedicare AB traded at SEK 76.75 (€7.91), up 3.72% on the day and 3.15% below its 52-week high of SEK 79.25 (€8.17), set on 23 August 2016. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of SEK 490.25 million (€50.5 million).
