Externa, a Spain-based firm focused on temporary employment, outsourcing and HR, announced the acquisition of two Portuguese companies in the temporary employment sector: Winworking Trabalho Temporário and Winworking Serviços.

Both companies are based in Porto, Portugal.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Externa said the purchase of Winworking Trabalho Temporário and Winworking Serviços will also lead to notable growth for Externa by adding to its forecast of €40 million in turnover in 2023. Both acquired companies are expected to close the year with €6 million in turnover combined.

The acquisition represents the beginning of a new phase for the company, Externa said.

CEO and Founder Pastor López Docampo said that in addition to providing services in their Portuguese market, both companies also operate in other countries including France, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany and the US.

Winworking specialises in temporary employment, recruitment and selection for the metalworking, electricity, industry, services and civil construction sectors.

Externa operates in the sectors of logistics, retail, commercial, services, industry, hostelry, and care for minors and dependents.
