Spain – Randstad signs training agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid

03 October 2017

Randstad in Spain and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) have signed an agreement to facilitate access of their students into the labour market, reports RRHH Digital.

Randstad will provide courses, conferences and presentations that will help students access the labour market. Randstad Spain and Latin America CEO Rodrigo Martín commented, "For Randstad, it is a priority that the world of training joins the business world and it is essential to increase and enhance the employability of students. University must be a means and not an end. Our strategy, in this sense, is to join those centers that offer studies with a greater deficit of professionals, to be able to identify the talent and put them in contact with companies that offer employment.”

Meanwhile, Europa Press reports that the Randstad Foundation and the Spain-based Atresmedia Foundation have renewed an agreement to help disabled people in Spain enter the labour market. The collaboration means that they will contribute to raising awareness, visibility and promote labour integration for those with disabilities.
