Spain – Nearly half of workers would move to another city for work after the summer holidays: Randstad

Almost half, of 47% of professionals in Spain would be willing to move for a new job after summer holidays, according to survey data from Randstad Spain.

The data found that among the reasons for moving to another city, salary was the main factor for 60.5% of professionals, followed by work and life balance (50.4%), better promotion opportunities (41.7%) and greater job security (37.6%).

Meanwhile, 33% say they would move to another country.

Randstad also found that the young professionals were more willing they were to change cities for work. In this sense, 61.9% of those under 25 would be willing to move for a new job after the summer holidays. This was followed by professionals between 25 and 45, of which 50.5% are willing to move; while among those over 45, 36.7% would change cities.
