Spain – Eurofirms revenue up 14% as EBITDA improves

11 April 2023

Eurofirms, the Spain-based temporary employment and human resources firm, announced that it reported revenue of €557 million in 2022, a 14% increase year-on-year.

The group said revenue growth came despite the labour reform in Spain, which impacted temporary employment in the country.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at €7 million, an increase of 13% over the previous year.

According to Expansión (paywall), after cancelling its operations in the Netherlands in 2022 and expanding to France, Eurofirms now has two offices in the French market. Eurofirms is also present in Portugal, Italy and Chile.

Last year, the Spanish government approved a landmark labour reform which overhauls the legislation in relation to temporary contracts. The Spanish government claimed the reforms will reduce the country’s high number of temporary contracts and avoid layoffs.
