Spain – Catenon reports Q1 turnover up 25%; Talent Hackers sees turnover rise 40%

Catenon SA (COM:MCE), a recruitment firm based in Madrid, Spain, reported first-quarter revenue rose 25% year over year to more than €3.5 million. EBITDA rose by 9%.

The company said its Talent Hackers division, which provides IT recruitment, saw turnover rise 40% year over year in the first quarter. However, its Catenon Partners business has been especially affected by the war in Ukraine and experienced a 27% drop in royalties collected year over year.

Share price and market cap

Shares in Catenon closed up 7.91% to €1.50 on Wednesday; they were 20.0% above their 52-week low, according to FT.com. The company had a market cap of €26.0 million.
