WE Insight - Critical Challenges Facing Staffing Firms in Western Europe

We have identified ten critical challenges following conversations with senior executives at European staffing
companies from March to August 2009 supplemented by our own proprietary research, access to third
party resources and industry knowledge.

Some of these are the very same challenges that are facing staffing companies whichever market they may operate in - from the Bay
Area to Beijing - although the unique European operating environment will obviously have some influence on the specific nature and complexity of these challenges and, where relevant, we have remarked on these. We do, however, identify a number of specific home-grown European challenges such as those relating to legislation and social acceptance.
