Poland – Work Service buys four firms in Romania's APT group

Work Service, a Polish HR services, contract, RPO and outsourcing group, announced it has bought stakes of 55% in four companies owned by Romanian HR services firm APT group for an undisclosed sum.

Work Service Group stated that it has now became a majority shareholder of APT Resources & Services, APT Human Resources, APT Broker and APT Finance Broker.

In the last quarter of 2017, two of the companies providing HR services (APT Resources & Services and APT Human Resources) will be integrated into the Work Service brand. The other two (APT Broker and APT Finance Broker), which focus on financial intermediation services, will operate under the Finance Care brand.

The management of the four companies will be provided by the current APT Group CEO, Sorina Donisa, who will also remain a shareholder, along with Wojciech Mora, the Work Service representative in Romania.

The two remaining companies in the APT Group, namely APT New Business Solutions and APT Evolution have not been the subject of this transaction and will continue their operations under the APT brand. The two companies provide marketing and communication services, employee professional appraisal, employee development programmes and software development.

Work Service Group was founded in 1999 in Poland and provides workforce solutions ranging from permanent placement and temporary staffing, to outplacement and outsourcing services throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

APT group was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Bucharest. The group provides a full range of HR services, design and implementation of marketing and communication projects, and Software as a Service (SaaS) services.
