ManpowerGroup Inc. appointed Michelle Nettles as chief people and culture officer, effective July 29. She will take over global HR leadership from Mara Swan, executive VP global strategy and talent, who announced plans to retire in March 2020. Nettles for 20 years has held various leadership positions across human resources at Molson Coors Brewing Company; she currently is the beer company’s chief people and diversity officer as well as a member of its executive leadership team.

Volt Information Sciences Inc. promoted Lori Schultz to the role of chief global solutions officer. Schultz joined Volt in August 2018 as chief operating officer. Her new role will also include responsibilities for the company’s international business and Arctern Consulting.

Engineering recruitment firm Fircroft appointed Claire Watt as chief operating officer, a newly created role. Watt's previous experience includes 12 years at BT plc where she most recently served as managing director of the group's global customer billing and collections organisation.
