UK-based boutique recruitment firm Henderson Scott appointed David Etherington as group Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. Etherington has 23 years’ experience in the staffing industry starting in 1995 with TechPartners International and culminating after additional leadership positions at employment agency White & Nunn plc, Capita Resourcing and international recruitment firm Astbury Marsden.

London-based recruitment agency Sidekicks announced that it has appointed Katie Booth Managing Director. Booth has previously worked with Spencer Ogden and UK recruitment consultancy Advantage Resourcing.

Armstrong Craven announced that it has appointed Olivia Wynn as Director Switzerland, alongside her other senior role of Practice Director Healthcare and Life Sciences. Wynn will be responsible for driving opportunities for Armstrong Craven’s other key sectors including Financial Services, in Switzerland.

Hudson Global Resources announced that it has appointed Barry Lee as a director of its Scottish business. Prior to Hudson, Lee worked at HRC Recruitment as Commercial Director. Lee will head up Hudson’s accountancy and finance, financial services, and HR business practices across Scotland. Recently, Hudson announced that it had completed the sale of its recruitment and talent management operations in Europe to Morgan Philips.

Empiric Group, the privately owned, London based technology staffing specialist, has announced that Russell Clements has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. Clements previously served as CEO to SThree for eight years. Clements is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Hunter Healthcare and cube19.com, a Software as a Service company.
