Harvey Nash has appointed Simon Drake as managing director of leadership services in the UK. The role oversees Harvey Nash Executive Search and Impact Executives in the UK. Drake has been brought in to help support planned growth for the business, both through organic growth and acquisition. He was previously on the operating board of Penna Plc, and has chaired the Interim Management Association (IMA).

RGF (Recruit Global Family) Singapore, a subsidiary of Recruit Holdings, has promoted James Miles to the role of managing director, effective 1 October 2017. Miles was formerly senior director at RGF, and he succeeds Jonathan Guilfoile as Singapore MD. Miles started out at RGF as one of the first three employees in 2010 and over the years, he has been credited with heading RGF’s IT&T (IT and Telecommunication), digital and industrial practices. He previously worked at K2 Recruit.

UK staffing firm Impellam announced that Sir Paul Stephenson, Non-Executive Director, has announced his intention to step down from the Board of Impellam with effect from the end of calendar year 2017, in order to pursue other interests. Sir Paul has been with Impellam for the past three years. Prior to joining Impellam he was Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service between 2009 and 2011 and first joined the police service in 1975.

SThree announced that it has appointed James Bilefield as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration, Audit and Nomination Committees, with effect from 1 October 2017. Current Non-Executive Directors Fiona MacLeod and Nadhim Zahawi will retire on 31 October 2017 and James will succeed Fiona as Senior Independent Director, in addition to becoming Chairman Designate. James will succeed Clay Brendish as Chairman on conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting in April 2018. James was previously Board Director at StageCoach, Chairman for Cruise.co, and Senior Adviser for McKinsey&Company.

Recruitment outsourcing and HR services company, The Curve Group, has appointed Miles McLeod as Head of Client Solutions. He joins the leadership team from his most recent role as Vice President EMEA at Pontoon Solutions, the recruitment outsourcing division of the Adecco Group, with the remit of consulting with new and existing clients to create innovative solutions to their human capital needs and challenges. McLeod has over twenty years experience in the HR services sector. The Curve Group stated that his appointment will strengthen its MSP and RPO offering.
