Amsterdam-based private equity firm Value Enhancement Partners (VEP) has acquired a majority interest in Dutch staffing firm Actos Groep (Actos Group).

Actos Group was created through the merger of specialist recruitment firms InQuest and Doxa. The company has offices in The Hague, Tilburg and Antwerp, and has an annual turnover of around €30 million. The firm mediates in the placement of more than 350 employees and independent contractors at both companies and government institutions. Its specialist labels include InQuest, Doxa HR and Doxa Communication, In2Talent and Demt-flex.

Bob de Lange, partner at VEP, commented, "We see Actos as a nice specialised staffing organisation and believe that together with the management, Actos can continue to grow, both autonomously and through selective acquisitions."

VEP stated that the purchase of Actos signals the rollout of an active buy-and-build strategy. It added that in time, several labels will be added to the Actos brand.
