The Brisker Group, an HR services provider based in the Netherlands, announced that it has acquired Nextpayroll, a Dutch firm providing back office support for intermediaries including temporary employment agencies, recruitment & selection agencies and secondment agencies.

The agreement for the acquisition was signed on 16 October by The Brisker Group’s co-owner and CEO Dennis Luyten and managing director Paul den Ronden. Nextpayroll’s owners Paul de Waal and Frank Roode signed the agreement on their company’s behalf.

Nextpayroll which also provides payroll services, will continue to exist in the current capacity and the day-to-day management will remain in the hands of the current management while the company’s employees will continue to work in the Breda, Netherlands branch. However, group added that in the long term, a name change will be implemented.

Turnover for Nextpayroll in 2017 was €40.6 million.

The Brisker Group comprises of the Pay for People, Holland Payroll, Smart Services, Tentoo and now Nextpayroll brands. A flexible employment specialist, The Brisker Group also supports organisations with payroll solutions and back-office services.

"We were at a crossroads in our business operations: investing further or connecting with a larger, like-minded party,” Roode said. “After a number of exploratory discussions with Dennis and Paul, we decided to join forces with the Brisker Group.”

De Waal added that “Our vision, focus and company profile fit seamlessly with those of Brisker Group.”

“With the acquisition of Nextpayroll we are strengthening our position in the south of the country", Luyten said.
