Pauwels Consulting, which ranks among the largest staffing firms in Belgium, acquired 4People, a Dutch firm that specializes in secondment and placement of executives in the construction, infrastructure and environment and engineering sectors.

The deal was announced last month.

“We have already expanded Pauwels Consulting in the Netherlands through acquisitions of other players in IT and life sciences, and 4People is now also an excellent engineering expertise. In this way we mirror the activities of our home base in Belgium,” said Bert Pauwels, managing director of Pauwels Consulting.

Pauwels Consulting has made 12 acquisitions in the past seven years, and turnover has risen to €149 million from €25 million.
