Netherlands – Over a third of temporary employees do not feel involved with their employer

06 October 2017

More than a third, or 39% of Dutch temporary workers do not feel involved in the company that they are working with, according to survey data from jobs site Uitzendbureau.nl.

The survey asked 788 temporary workers in the Netherlands the reasons as to why they do not feel involved with their employers. Among the reasons were concerns about being a wrong match, the short duration of employment and lack of security from the temporary role.

Recruiters from employment agencies from YoungCapital, Active! And VNOM state that it is important to listen carefully to what temporary workers want and what they expect and to give the workers as much security and clarity as possible.
