Netherlands – DPA Group appoints new CEO

DPA Group (DPA: NL), the Dutch staffing firm, announced today that Arnold van Mameren has been formally appointed as CEO of DPA Group. 

Van Mameren succeeds Eric Winter, who has been at the helm of the company since 2011 and remains involved with DPA as a supervisory director. 

DPA Group first announced in June 2019 that van Mameren would take the helm as CEO.

"The appointment of Arnold is in line with the course that was set in 2018 to further strengthen the core activities of DPA," Ron Icke, chairman of the DPA Supervisory Board, said. “We are pleased that we can appoint a person with a great deal of experience in recruitment, good employment practices and digitization for this position. Arnold's background at large consulting firms is also of value for the realization of DPA's ambitions. We have every confidence in our management team that currently consists of Arnold van Mameren (CEO) and Désirée Theyse (CFO).”

Van Mamern started his career at Pink Elephant (later PinkRoccade). Here he led several large units and contributed to the integration with Getronics in 2005. After that, he became ultimately responsible for the Getronics consulting business unit. In 2010, Mameren became ultimately responsible for KPN Consulting, which under his leadership received recognition as a Great Place to Work. After two years as Director Operations at EY Advisory Services, he successfully completed a turnaround at cloud services integrator Pink Elephant.

DPA Group reported revenue yesterday for the first six months of the year of €75.3 million, an increase of 4.2% on an organic basis when compared to the previous year.
