Data from the Dutch Federation of Private Employment Agencies (ABU), shows that hours worked by temporary workers increased by 6% and turnover grew by 7% in period 9 (week 33 – 36) in comparison to the same period last year. This period had an equal amount of workable days compared to the same period last year, so no correction was applied.

Temporary workers in the administrative sector increased 9% in hours worked and turnover grew 8% in comparison to the same period in 2015. Hours in the industrial sector increased 5% and turnover increased 7% compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the amount of worked hours in the technical sector decreased 2% and turnover increased 4%.
