Kenya-based recruitment firm Summit Recruitment & Search announced that it has merged with boutique recruitment firm Kama Kazi Africa, also based in Kenya.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.

Kama Kazi will take on the name of Summit Recruitment & Search. The group focuses on the Hospitality, Real Estate, Tech and Non-Government Organisations fields, recruiting junior to mid-level positions and offering staffing solutions to clients across East Africa.

According to a statement from Summit, the merger between the two firms will lead to Summit becoming the largest search and recruitment company in East Africa.

Summit primarily focuses on executive search and head hunting assignments in specialised sectors, servicing clients across East Africa, South Africa and greater Africa.

Summit’s headquarters will continue to be in continue to be based in Nairobi.
