Ireland – Grafton appoints Robert Dix as Chairman

Robert Dix has been appointed Chairman of Grafton Employment Group.

Dix trained as an accountant with KPMG Ireland where he worked for 33 years and was a member of the board when he left the organisation in 2008. He then joined business tycoon Barry O'Callaghan's family office where he was responsible for setting up a major philanthropic foundation as well as a supporting CSR functions with O'Callaghan's US publishing company, EMPG. In 2010, Dix joined Zamin Ferrous Limited as finance director.

Dix has a Bachelor of Business and Science degree from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He also represented Ireland at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal (Sailing).
