Interiman Group full year revenue up 5.7%, appoints new CEO

16 February 2024

Interiman Group, a recruitment firm based in Switzerland, reported a consolidated turnover of CHF 593 million (€624.8 million) for the 2023 financial year, a rise of 5.7% compared with 2022.

The company noted that the 5.7% increase comes amid a fall of 5.8% in the Swiss staffing market in 2023, according to data from Swiss Staffing.

“With a turnover of CHF 593 million (€624.8 million), Interiman Group has set a new record. This result is particularly remarkable given that it was achieved in an environment of a national downturn,” said Raymond Knigge, Chairman and founder of Interiman Group.

The company said its performance, in a challenging employment market, was made possible by the constant commitment of all the teams and by strengthening the group's visibility on digital platforms and social networks. This presence has generated over 670,000 applications, with the publishing of almost 19,000 job offers in 2023. The group has also recorded an increase in the number of internal employees, from 500 in 2022 to almost 530 by the end of 2023.

Interiman Group also announced that it appointed Christophe Zimmerli as CEO of the company as of 1 March 2024. Zimmerli succeeds Robin Gordon, who joined the group in 2007, subsequently became a partner and was appointed CEO in 2013. Gordon will remain involved in the group's governance, as he will now be chairman of the board of directors.

An attorney holding a doctorate in law, Zimmerli has held a number of executive positions including most recently as CEO of Kummler+Matter, a Swiss-based product house that develops and produces innovative and customised products and systems for the electrification of light and heavy rail.

“I'm very proud to have supported the group on its path to becoming the Swiss market leader by 2022, thanks to our highly motivated and competent teams,” Gordon said. “My successor has all the skills required to continue our growth in Switzerland and abroad. I wish him all the best.”

Zimmerli said, “It is with a deep sense of honour and joy that I join the Interiman Group. Its founder and my predecessor made the company a Swiss leader in recruitment and human resources services. My ambition is to pursue this tradition of excellence. To achieve this goal, I know I can rely on the solid groundwork created by all members of the Interiman Group team to provide our customers with high-quality, innovative services.”
