View All NewsGroupe Crit Q2 revenue up 4.9% despite economic conditions
Groupe Crit SA, a Paris-based staffing firm, reported second-quarter revenue yesterday rose 4.9% year over year on an organic, constant currency basis to €652.9 million (US$711.0 million). The increase was 9.7% on a reported basis.
The group said the revenue increase included a scope impact of 5.2% linked to the integration of Swiss-based OK Job, consolidated from 1 January 2023.

In France, business momentum is confirmed with quarterly revenue of €481.6 million, up 5.2%. International activities posted a 24.6% increase taking into account the integration of OK Job. On an organic constant-currency basis, International revenue grew by 3.7%.
“All the business divisions contributed to the good performance for the quarter, in a contrasting economic context,” the group stated.
In temporary staffing, revenue for the second quarter came to €532.7 million, up by 8.7% (2.7% on an organic and constant currency basis) compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The company reported strong temporary staffing activity in France with revenue up 3.3% to €386.6 million. Industries driving the growth included transport, agri-food, aeronautics and automotive.
Groupe Crit’s international temporary staffing revenue rose 26% year over year to €146.2 million (US$159.2 million), which includes the acquisition of OK Job. On an organic, constant currency basis, which excludes OK Job, international temporary staffing revenue rose by 0.7%.
US temporary staffing revenue rose 4.2% on an organic basis despite persistent recruitment difficulties in the IT sector. Revenue totalled €64.3 million.
In Spain, revenue fell by 8.5% to €34.1 million amid the effects of legislative reform by the government. US and Spanish revenue are included in international temporary staffing revenue.
Groupe Crit also has a multi-services division that provides services to airports, and revenue in that division rose by 13.2% on an organic and constant currency basis.

Groupe Crit shares closed at €76.60, down 0.52% on the day and 8.15% below its 52-week high of €83.40, set on 15 May 2023. The company has a market cap of €866.25 million.
