Global – Contract watch: Modis, AgileOne, Revolution IT

VRT News reported that Modis Belgium signed a four-year contract to provide approximately 1,200 IT experts to the European Commission. Modis is part of The Adecco Group. The deal was described as the largest framework agreement for IT services signed by an EU institution. Engineeringnet.be reported the contract has a maximum value of €500 million.

AgileOne was selected as the new provider of record for contingent workforce management for Bristol-Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company. AgileOne is part of recruitment firm ActOne Group. “At Bristol-Myers Squibb, patients are at the center of everything we do, from developing and discovering transformational medicines to addressing barriers to accessing healthcare,” Chief Procurement officer Farryn Melton said. “We also embrace a diverse workforce and inclusive culture, and we consider the selection of AgileOne as critical to our supplier diversity strategy.”

Revolution IT and Modis Consulting were selected by the Australia Department of Home Affairs to receive AUD 9 million (USD 6.4 million) IT contracts each, ARN reported. The contracts will deliver on a range of IT needs. The contract will run through 30 June 2019.
