France – Temporary work startup Iziwork raises €35 million in funding (Les Echos)

13 January 2021

Iziwork, a France-based startup that has created a platform that facilitates the search for assignments for temporary workers, raised funds of €35 million from Cathay Innovation and Bpifrance, reports Les Echos. The latest funding brings the total funds raised to €55 million euros since its founding in September 2018. The startup says that in a few clicks, a person looking for an interim assignment creates a profile, uploads their CV and indicates their availability. Using AI, Iziwork analyses skills and evaluates the available offers. The startup wants to take advantage of its fundraising to double the workforce of its R&D division, currently composed of 60 people, and increase its partner agents from 120 to 300 people, who market and deploy its digital platform in France. The company also wants to accelerate in several European markets. The company claims that 800,000 people have already logged into its platform.
