France – Synergie reports half-year revenue boosted by international growth

French staffing firm Synergie (SDG: PAR) reported revenue of €943 million for the six months ending 30 June 2016, an increase of 10% compared with €859 million during the same period last year.

The International segement had a revenue €450 million, up 8% from the previous year. In France, revenue was € 493 million, up 11% from the previous year. The group states that it has began boosting its development since the beginning of 3rd quarter, with nearly 63,500 employees, reaching its highest historical levels.

Synergie stated on its website: “These performances demonstrate the correctness of strategic choices by Executive Management and significant efforts from booming sectors such as aerospace, shipbuilding, renewable energy and specialised tertiary activities. With these performances and financial strength, Synergie continues to actively look at new acquisition possibilities to accelerate growth, in particular internationally, aiming at a turnover of two billion for the current fiscal year."

In trading today, Synergie traded at €29.39, down 0.37% on the day and 1.57% below its 52-week high of €29.86, set on 21 July 2016. Based on its current share price, the company has a market value of €718.68 million.
