France – Staffing firm Ergalis makes three acquisitions

Ergalis, the temporary employment agency which was founded in 2010 by investment firm Activa Capital, has today announced three acquisitions of Action Beauté Cosmétique Interim, Action Assistance and Talentpeople for an undisclosed amount.

The firm said it had made the acquisitions ​​in July 2012, which will broaden its stance in the temporary staffing and HR industries in France.

Action Beauté Cosmétique Interim and Action Assistance specialise in the cosmetics, perfumery and luxury markets. Last year, the firms made a combined turnover of €7 million.

Talentpeople focuses on outsourcing and is serving large clients such as the national railway (SNCF) and car marker PSA, with revenues in 2011 amounting to €2 million.

Philippe Latorre, Partner at Activa Capital said “With these three acquisitions, Ergalis continues its strategy of broadenings its services in the temporary staffing market and human resources, confirming its ability to be a pole of corporate mergers.”

The acquisition follows the takeover of Randstad subsidiary Selpro, in September 2010 and the acquisition of Plus HR, the specialist staffing agency in the services sector in March 2011. In January this year, the firm acquired Intérim Medical Service (IMS), the medical and paramedical specialist staffing agency.

Last year, Ergalis's group revenues amounted to €120 million.
