France’s department of solar energy is expected to create 21,000 jobs in France by 2023, reports Le Figaro with data from Ademe and the French Building Federation. The creation of the additional jobs would meet objectives set by law on energy transition. The Energy Transition Act and its Roadmap predict that France's solar power fleet will reach between 18.2 and 20.2 GW in 2023. The tax benefits for local authorities are estimated at €183 million per year from 2023.
