France – Randstad France takes stake in tech start-up Illuin Technology

Randstad France announced today that it has invested in Paris-based tech start-up Illuin Technology.

François Béharel, Group CEO of Randstad France wrote in a LinkedIn blog post today that he would be joining the board of Illuin Technology as part of the investment.

The investment, a 10% stake, is part of Randstad France Group's "Tech & Touch" strategy. 

Illuin Technology, founded in 2017, specialises in AI, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Design Thinking, UX Design, Lean Mobile Factory, Full Stack Development. The group said that it supports companies to meet the challenges of AI and new modes of human-machine interaction.

“We innovate with our customers by placing the end user at the heart of the process thanks to our mastery of Design Thinking and UX Design,” Illuin Technology states.

Illuin’s engineers, developers and designers have already worked on the development of ‘Randy’, Randstad’s virtual recruiting assistant chatbot. Illuin also advises the Paris Digital Lab for CentraleSupélec, a French school of engineers. The CEO of Illuin Technology, Robert Vesoul, co-directs the Chair of digital innovation at the school.

Béharel added that Illuin’s agile approach to emerging technologies “allows us to anticipate the future of our business and give it more and more added value.”
