France – Groupe Crit revenue up in first half, domestic and international revenue improves

French staffing firm Groupe Crit (CEN: FP) reported revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2017 of €1.17 million, an increase of 9.7% on an organic basis, compared with the same period last year.

Current operating income increased by 16.3% to €49.1 million. Net Profit decreased by 6.9% to €29.6 million.

The company’s Staffing & recruitment division (84.1% of total revenue) posted a half-year revenue of €987.6 million, rising by 13% compared to the previous year.

In France, H1 revenue amounted to €733.9 million, posting a 10.9% organic growth in line with the market dynamics. International staffing operations posted H1 revenue of €253.8 million revenue, rising by 5.9% on an organic basis, compared to last year. US growth was driven by the latest acquisitions (TeamSoft and EHD Technologies, acquired in November 2016 and February 2017, respectively) while Spanish operations continue their growth momentum.

The Multi-services division recorded revenue for H1 of €196.6 million, rising by 9.1% on an organic basis when compared to last year.

“Both French and international activities continue to perform well,” Group Crit stated. “For the second half of the year, international activities will continue to be driven by the latest acquisitions in US and the strength of the Spanish market. In Airport activities, outlooks are also favourable. International activities will continue to benefit from the integration of Cobalt Ground Solutions. As a consequence, all indicators are positive for the coming months.

In trading yesterday Groupe Crit traded at €82.30, down 6.05% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €902.2 million.
