France – Freelance.com H1 turnover up 17%

30 October 2018

French online staffing group Freelance.com (EPA: ALFRE) reported revenue of €88.9 million for the first half of the year, an increase of 17% when compared to the previous year.

Freelance.com previously reported second-quarter revenue of €48.3 million with H1 revenue calculated at €91.2 million.

However the group corrected its turnover after finding an accounting error.

In September, the group said its H1 sales in France amounted to €63.8 million, instead of the €66.3 million it reported earlier this year which led to a rectified group turnover of €88.9 million for H1 2018 instead of the €91.2 million it stated in its results earlier this year.

No further information on the nature of the error was provided. However Staffing Industry Analysts attempted to reach out to Freelance.com but did not hear back before publication.
