France – Freelance.com H1 revenue rises 25%

French online staffing platform Freelance.com (EPA: ALFRE) reported revenue today for the first half of the year of €111.5 million, an increase of 25% when compared to the previous year.

The group previously reported second quarter results in September 2019.

Business outside France accounted for 29% of group sales in the first half of 2019.

“With this good first half, the group is very confident in achieving its 2019 targets: more than €220 million in sales and €7 million in operating income,” The company stated.

In the longer term, Freelance.com aims to exceed the € 500 million revenue threshold within five years.

The group is set to publish its Q3 2019 results on 25 November 2019 after market close.

As of last trade Freelance.com traded at €2.40, up 4.35% on the day and 8.40% below its 52-week high of €2.62, set on 2 September 2019. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €83.13 million.
