France – Executive salaries rise faster than non-executive salaries in 2016

The salaries of non-executives in France increased by 0.7% in the first half of 2016, compared to the same period the previous year, according to data from Randstad.

On average, a non-executive earns 6.8% more than the minimum wage, which rose 0.6% on 1 January 2016.

Meanwhile, the salaries of executives increased by 1.7% in 2016, compared to 2015.

Among the regions, the average increase in wages was 1.4% in Normandy, where they are the highest.
