French staffing firm DLSI SA (ALDSL:PAR) has made three acquisitions to boost its presence in the country and increase its client base, the recruiter reported on Monday. The three recruitment agencies have been acquired on 1 October and have combined revenues of €8.5 million.

Metrics of the deal were not published. 

Two of the companies are based in South-eastern France in the Rhône-Alpes region, operating under the brand ATOM Emploi. The third company is known as MT Interim, located in St-Avold.

DLSI said the acquisitions strengthened its position in the region, taking the number of branches in France to over 70.

“These operations confirm the group's ambition to become a major player in the French interim and recruitment market,” said DLSI in a statement.

In August, the staffing company reported a slump in half-year revenue which was down -12.6% to €89.2 million due to a slowdown in temporary employment.

DLSI, ranked 17th largest French staffing firm and has a network of employment agencies located throughout France, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland and Germany. The firm provides temporary employees for its clients in a range of sectors, including insurance, banking, finance and real estate.
