France – DLSI Q3 revenue rises 1.0%

French staffing firm DLSI SA (ALDLS: PAR), reported revenue Friday for the third quarter ended 30 September 2018 of €60.5 million, up 1.0% compared to the same period last year.

The group also reported results for the nine months ended 30 September 2018. Turnover amounted to €170.2 million, up 7.3% compared to the previous year. The group’s international operations represented 27.1% of turnover during this period. This was in line with the group’s forecast.

Turnover in France for the nine-month period stood at €124.0, up 9.0% compared to the previous year while international turnover increased by 2.9%.

The group highlighted growth in its nuclear segment which was up by 58.7% compared to the previous year, during the nine-month period.

DLSI said it benefited from CICE (tax credit for employment and competitiveness) which helped raise the level of training for staff and helped with other recruitment-related investments.

During the period, DLSI announced that it acquired Exelteam, a temporary staffing agency based in Paris. The acquisition also includes Exelteam MPC. The acquisition was effective from 8 October 2018. DLSI added that the acquisitions offer a great opportunity in terms of geographic location, diversification of customers and business.

Looking ahead, the group stated that it remains open to external growth opportunities in France and Europe.

DLSI also forecasted €230 million in turnover for the full year 2018.

In trading on Friday, DLSI shares closed at €19.00, up 1.3% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €47.9 million.
